Modern context offers new realities of existence due to the introduction of digital technologies in various spheres of society. The significance of this process contributed to studying the trends in the development of the educational environment in digitalization of the economy. In the education system, the reform is aimed at expanding the capabilities of traditional learning models, using the basis of the digital educational space. The implementation of priority projects related to digitalization of educational process requires specific infrastructure,appropriate regulatory and legal framework. The analysis of digitalization process in the field of education showed that successful application of new technologies in education is increasing in the region, the necessary conditions are being created to ensure the formation of professional competences. The analysis of the results of a sociological study carried out among I. Yakovlev CHSPU students on organising and delivering classes employing e-learning system. The students pointed out both the advantages and disadvantages of digitalization of education. More than half of the respondents are satisfied with electronic educational resources at the university, confirm the need for blended learning, traditional classroom and e-learning. Restructuring the forms of educational activity is not fundamentally capable of changing the educational process, but it will increase the motivation of students and the quality of their training.

It has been established that the use of modern pedagogical approaches in educational process depends on the effectiveness of digital tools used. It was revealed that digital educational environment is a necessary condition for functioning in modern society.
