Abstracts:
The article presents the results of the testing of the methods of teaching students the technical techniques of army hand-to-hand combat, taking into account some general and specific aspects in their content. The pedagogical experiment was conducted on the basis of Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation of Russian Technological University during one academic year by teaching an elective course in Physical Culture and Sports with the participation of experimental and control groups of the second- and third-year students with 12 people in each group. The criteria for the effectiveness of the methods were: 1) the quality of the development of technical techniques of the army hand-to-hand combat, assessed on a 5-point scale; 2) the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the use of technical techniques in competitive activities, assessed using the method of peer review. The article provides the results of the experiment which showed that the training of students in the elective course on physical culture and sports technical techniques of the army hand-to-hand combat, taking into account some general and specific aspects iin their content provides a significant improvement the quality of the development of the army hand-to-hand combat punching technique (punches and kicks) and the technique of movement; the number of attacking actions in a competitive match; reliability and effectiveness of attacking actions with hands and feet.
