Abstracts:
This article is devoted to the serious scientific problem of practical application of modern strategies in the process of formation and development of professional competence of a foreign language teacher; emphasizes the correlation of the personal, activity-oriented and communicative components of professional competence of the teacher at various stages of training and work; pays particular attention to the issues related to the use of direct (directive) strategies in the formation of professional competence of a foreign language teacher. The author considered a special kind of indirect (indirect) category of strategies – a meta-cognitive strategy «Word / Tag Cloud». It has been established that the goals of teaching influense the correlation of the personal, activity-oriented, and communicative components of a teacher’s professional competence at various stages of his training and work.
