Name of article:LOCAL HISTORY INFORMATION IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TEACHING AIDS FOR NON-NATIVE-SPEAKER CHILDREN
Keywords:

Recently, in Russia as a whole and in some regions in particular, more and more attention has been paid to the methods of teaching Russian to non-native-speaker children. This methodological problem is also relevant in such a multi-ethnic region as Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug -Yugra. It is important to give schoolchildren not only knowledge and skills aimed at developing the basic speech activities necessary for everyday communication, but also to address regional studies and local history topics, with the help of which it is possible to achieve socio-cultural adaptation of students, immersing them in a certain cultural environment.

The article considers the possibility of using local history texts in Russian language teaching aids for non-native-speaker children. It is concluded that working with regional texts will help this category of students to more successfully go through the process of linguistic and socio-cultural adaptation in a new community.
