Abstracts:

This article examines mentoring as a strategically important element of the development and training of a student to determine his future professional education. This element of the student’s mentoring system highlights the tasks of forming unique knowledge, skills and competencies, developing their potential and forming behavioral models that correspond to the goals of development, increasing the involvement and innovative activity of the student. The need for mentoring in the student's career guidance is considered. The analysis of mentoring formation from the origins to the present is carried out, its modern forms are revealed and the methods of mentor’s work with schools that are relevant today are presented. The main purpose of the work is to reveal the importance and relevance of mentoring for the professional development of students at the beginning of the path from a student to a qualified specialist. It is considered which forms and methods of mentoring will be more effective in career guidance of a student to a future profession according to the cycle of U. Shukhrat - E. Deming in order to build the most effective career guidance trajectory. The study allows us to conclude that mentoring is an effective tool for career guidance of schoolchildren and contributes to the successful process of choosing a future profession. It helps students to better understand themselves, their interests and abilities, as well as to familiarize themselves with various opportunities in the labor market.
