This article presents the analysis of the experience of implementation of the course “Service-Learning” in an educational organization. Service-learning implies that students, while studying and applying their professional skills, benefit society in solving social problems. This paper proposes a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach consisting of a combination of socio-philosophical reflection with pedagogical and cultural aspects, which allows us to highlight the problem from various angles. The focus is on the value-worldview transformations of the personality. The novelty of the paper is the study of the socio-cultural significance of the “Service-Learning” program. Service-learning in this context declares itself as an innovative educational program capable of acting as a prototype of a new paradigm of higher education, focused not on narrow professionalization, but on the comprehensive development of a person in the unity of his cognitive, emotional and behavioral aspects. The socio-philosophical understanding of the narratives of the course can contribute to the formation of an approach focused on the comprehensive development of personality.
As a result of the research, the conceptual foundations of the course aimed at service-learning, its value and worldview attitudes are revealed. The correspondence of the course content to the tasks of spiritual and moral development of the individual is evaluated. The personal transformations of students during the course are investigated.
