Abstracts:
Every day our lives are more and more connected with information technology. New inventions are constantly being developed in this area, which provide us with opportunities for effective communication anywhere in the world. Today we are experiencing changes in many aspects of our activities, including in the field of education. Every schoolboy or student strives to have diplomas in his portfolio that reflect his participation and victories in Olympiads. Previously, students turned to their teachers to get information about the Olympiads being held. However, with the advent of the Internet, it has become the main source of information for modern schoolchildren and students. The Internet is a place for leisure, communication in social networks, but also a working tool in gaining knowledge. The article discusses the creation of a universal information and educational portal of I. Yakovlev CHSPU for the organization and holding of olympiads and competitions in various subjects among schoolchildren. This portal is an innovative platform that combines the functionality of creating tests and assignments for schoolchildren, and also provides the opportunity to conduct olympiads online. To check the effectiveness of the information and educational portal, its analysis was carried out using Kendall’s coefficient of concordance. This coefficient shows the degree of consistency of experts’ opinions according to the selected criteria. Thus, the results of the study allow us to conclude about the effectiveness of using the developed information and educational portal.
