Abstracts:
It is possible to increase pupils’ interest in studying physics by using different forms of classes, teaching methods and means of activating their activity. One of such means is physics portable suitcases, which are specially designed sets of equipment, tools and materials. They are designed for practical physics classes, allow to make lessons more vivid and make learning interactive and practical.
The article discusses possible reasons for schoolchildren’s lack of interest in physics and suggests solutions to this problem. A comparative analysis of three “Suitcases” is provided, which can be used for educational purposes by future physics teachers, practicing teachers and schoolchildren. The advantages of using the “Suitcase” of domestic production are considered. Methodological recommendations on preparation of students of pedagogical university to work with schoolchildren using the “Suitcase” with equipment from improvised means are given. This suitcase can be made and equipped by schoolchildren independently or with the help of a teacher. Its main advantages are availability, low cost, and variety of equipment.
