Abstracts:

This article is devoted to the study of some stages of the formation of G.N. Volkov as a scientist and a teacher. The purpose of the study was to determine the foundations of the genesis of the ethnopedagogical theory and practice of G.N. Volkov and the stages of his improvement to the heights of modern world pedagogy.

The relevance of this study is due to the growing attention to the works of G.N. Volkov, the need to understand his ideological, moral, ethical positions, his views on the philosophy of folk pedagogy. The paper analyzes the monographs and scientific articles of G.N. Volkov, some unpublished typewritten works and books of G.A. Viktorov, generalized and systematized the information received.

As a result of the analysis, it was found that Peraskovya Filippovna Volkova, his beloved grandmother, had a great influence on the understanding of the world around young Volkov. Illiterate, but outstanding in worldly wisdom, she formed the philosophy-credo of the first generation in a three-generation family.

Theoretical provisions and conclusions on the problem under study were discussed and approved at the Research Institute of Ethnopedagogy named after Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences G.N. Volkov at I. Yakovlev CHSPU; at the sections of the International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Academician of the Russian Academy of Education G.N. Volkov.

The analysis made it possible to conclude that the main factors in the formation of the personality of a representative of an ethnic group in the genesis of the theory and practice of G.N. Volkov are an example and love, work and family, ethno-pedagogization of a person’s life path.
