Chinese language, teaching Chinese, difficulties of learning, teaching methods, studying features of teaching

The popularity of the Chinese language is primarily caused by globalization and the intensification of relations between Russia and China. In general, the study of Chinese has been taking place in Russia for many centuries, but there are a number of difficulties associated with the difference between Chinese and Russian. Due to the increased interest of Russian students and schoolchildren in learning Chinese as a second language, the interest of scientists and teachers in studying the teaching process and its features has also increased.

The purpose of this article is to review the research carried out at the moment in the field of teaching Chinese to Russian students.

The author analyzed the research works conducted by scientists and professional teachers in the field of teaching Chinese. In the course of the study, it was revealed that most of the work on the study of this topic was carried out by specialists working in the Far Eastern region and Siberia of the Russian Federation. However, recently, the teachers of other universities, including Chinese one, are actively involved in studying the topic of teaching Chinese to Russian students.

A review of existing studies allows us to determine which guidelines are more interesting for modern researchers and teachers in the field of teaching Chinese to Russian students.
