Abstracts:

The article discusses the issues related to the use of case technology in the formation of competences in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) at bachelor’s degree students in information security (IS) in the process of teaching computer science and programming. The analysis of the requirements of federal state educational standards (FSES 3 ++) in the field of 10.03.01 Information Security training program, research works in the field of competence-based approach and articles on the formation of ICT competence, made it possible to determine the ICT competences of bachelor’s degree students in information security formed in the process of studying computer science and programming languages. Professional standards in the field of information security served as the basis for the formation of indicators and descriptors of their achievement. The article discusses general professional competences that are formed when studying computer science and programming languages. It is shown that a case on computer science and programming languages is a specially developed educational material based on the professional activity of a bachelor’s degree student in information security. The paper provides the examples of practice-oriented cases that can be used in teaching computer science and programming languages to bachelor’s degree students.
