Abstracts:
The proposed article analyzes the comic and satirical poems of R. I. Rozhdestvensky: “Scoldings for Alyoshka”, “Offensive Scoldings for Ksenka the Scorned”. The consideration of comic and satirical poems in the aspect of laughter reveals the peculiarities of the verbal genre of slangy and vulgar speech – scoldings – and pays attention to the lexical features of the poems, in particular, the words “falling out” of the literary norms. The material of this article shows that these works of Rozhdestvensky continued the tradition of comic and satirical folklore, and made a certain contribution to the literary process of the second half of the 20th century, reflecting the writer’s artistic vision of the complex socio-political events of the second half of the 1980s – early 1990s. The poem “Scoldings for Alyoshka” is based on the use of “funny” words, the comic, the figure of “irony” and other techniques. The identified features of the style of the poem allegorically express love and sympathy for the mischievous preschooler, and the “funny aesthetic” allows the author to kindly laugh at the mischiefs of Alyoshka. Regarding “Scoldings for Ksenka the Scorned”, it contains the elements of a ritual. The various scoldings perform the function of incantation, which is an echo of the ancient laughter cult. In the text of the poem there is a slangy-speech address of the author to the lyrical heroine, that is, a weakening of speech etiquette. Employing the characteristic features of irony (its metaphorical nature), Rozhdestvensky managed to bring the comic and carnivalesque content of the poem to the point of absurdity. This effect is achieved through a combination of various stylistic and genre techniques: irony, comedy, parody, slangy and vulgar expressions, etc.
