Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the strategies of forming a positive image of the PRC, which is studied by the material of the daily Chinese online newspaper «Zhenmin Zhibao», represented by the Russian version of the information website. The main method of research was the content analysis of the content filling of the site. The image policy of the publication, related to the general information policy of China, is based on the principle of «managed openness» or «balance». This leads to filtering the information flow, focusing readers’ attention on positive aspects of China’s development, minimizing negative information, replacing information with its comments.
