Abstracts:
The article deals with the education and development of students’ morality and high culture, which is the most important task in the process of personality formation. Since in the educational policy of the state the leading social institution is an educational institution and, first of all, it is the university, the author considers the possibility of educating the linguistic personality of students in the study of philological subjects. Special attention is paid to the study of the mentality of the people and its cultural code contained in the works of fiction, which is a necessary component of education. The paper also presents the examples of creative tasks for students studying the subject «Linguoculturology».
