Abstracts:
The article presents the results of the study of the artistic basis of the work of the Chuvash writer Ignatiy Ivanov «No need to covet the ready, save yourself» to identify its mythological origins; provides the comparative analysis of the artistic basis of the work, spiritual and cultural values of the people, the national mentality in relation to the desire to gain the unearned wealth in the context of folk tales. The paper also states that the discussed work is an artistic interpretation of mythological narratives on treasures.
