Abstracts:

The purpose of this article is to describe the features of representation of the fundamental spiritual value of Transbaikal Cossacks in their linguistic picture of the world, which is reflected in the language of the novel «Dauria» by K. F. Sedykh, describing the life of Cossacks in the early 20th century. The relevance of the study is due to the increasing interest of society in this part of the Russian ethnos, as well as the revival of both the Cossacks in general and the Transbaikal Cossack army in particular. In the course of the study, the author solved the following tasks: to choose from the text of the novel phraseological units containing the components God, Lord; to interpret them by conducting a semantic analysis of the contexts; to identify the all-Russian and regional phraseological units; to specify the most frequent ones. The object of the study was the phraseology of the novel «Dauria» by K. F. Sedykh. The author examined a total of 30 phraseological units, including proverbs (the third of which are the Transbaikal ones) that reveal the uniqueness of the linguistic picture of the world of Cossacks.
