Abstracts:

The article discusses the main approaches to the study of the linguistic picture of the world and the linguistic personality in religious discourse and analyzes the existing approaches in this scientific direction. The modern linguistic personality contains psychic, social, ethical, religious and other components that are found in its language and discourse. The author believes that in the concept of linguistic religious (orthodox) personality, the connection of language with the individual consciousness of the person, with a special worldview and spirituality is fixed. The analysis of the linguistic personality in religious discourse, being an actual object of linguistic research, is associated with a wide range of related disciplines of modern humanitarian studies. The conducted research shows that in the study and description of a linguistic religious personality, a multidimensional approach is important, since the subject of analysis is distinguished by its particular complexity, diversity, and also the ambiguity of interpretations in modern linguistics. In this connection, the general methods of scientific knowledge and the analysis of scientific literature on the theory of discourse, linguoculturology, sociolinguistics, philosophy of religion, etc., were used in the course of work.
