The article describes the methodological features of training in the 7^th cadet grade at Geometry lessons in the course of Mathematics with the historical component; demonstrates the expediency of using the historical component with mathematical knowledge in the field of developing drawings, forming conclusions and evidence; identifies the subjective criteria of persuasiveness, levels of students’ cognitive interest in mastering mathematical knowledge at Geometry lessons; provides the results of diagnostics of students’ knowledge level, the level of students’ cognitive interest in learning mathematical knowledge of historical content; gives the developed program on the use of interactive environment GeoGebra, aimed at increasing the level of students’ knowledge, developing skills to solve geometric problems, increasing cognitive interest using historical content.
