Abstracts:
The article substantiates the specificity of the process of formation of universal competences of systemic and critical thinking and the development and implementation of projects in students in the areas of training in Informatics and Information Technologies. The paper presents the analysis of the functions of IT industry specialists mentioned in professional standards; stresses the substantive relationship of the process of formation of the above-mentioned competences; determines the components of the competences and specific methodical principles of their formation.
