Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the problem of social significance of social networks and their use in order to improve the system of patriotic education in Russian universities. The author of the article summarized various definitions of social network technologies and revealed the content of this concept. The paper shows the possibility of managing socio-network tools in patriotic education of university students. Basing on the relevance of youth in the world of «electronic communication» and a high degree of reliance on the information provided in social networks, the author proposes the introduction of social networking tools in the patriotic education of university students.
