Abstracts:
The article reveals the purpose, importance and distinctive features of independent assessment of the quality of higher education from the standpoint of the requirements of the Federal law 273-FZ «On education in the Russian Federation» dated December 29, 2012; highlights the methodology of the independent assessment of the quality of higher education, and the stages of its implementation; presents the innovations in the independent assessment. Basing on the results of the experimental work, the authors give recommendations for making the independent assessment of the quality of higher education in future.
