The article discusses the developed multifunctional model of the development of students’ professional hermeneutic competence; pays particular attention to the competence hermeneutic components that contribute to the development of personal and semantic activity, initiative and spiritual morality of a teacher-to-be.
The specificity of the author’s teaching methods is built on the close categorical and meaningful interaction of such multidiscipline scientific concepts as hermeneutics, interpretation, cognitiveness in the context of reinforcing the understanding of humanitarian meanings, values of reality and understanding of its role in the world space.
