Abstracts:
The article discusses the statements with the semantics of motivation «on the contrary». It is noted that pragmatic characteristics, which determine the allocation of the semantic varieties of motivational sentences, play a significant role in such statements. Imperative semantics, expressed in the sequent parts by means of verbs in the imperative mood, is a motivating factor for the implementation of actions to prevent some perspective unwanted situations. The detailed analysis focuses on the imperative verbal forms of the perfect and imperfect types. The author comes to the conclusion that in the considered statements the verbs with imperative semantics express the action as a specific or a generalized fact.
