Abstracts:
Desirability is one of the main types of language modality and expresses the relation to reality as a desirable phenomenon, event. The article describes the grammatical tools involved in expressing desirability in the Russian language. It analyzes the role of particles, alliances and allied combinations, the order of words in sentences as specific means of forming desirability; presents the features of the use of dependent and independent infinitive constructions for the expression of the desired value.
