Abstracts:
The article discusses the scientific and value potential of the conception of the Chuvash-German gymnasium developed by academician G. Volkov with the participation of the author. The conception comes from the indisputable truth that the feeling of security, sense of national usefulness and moral comfort in a multinational environment is only possible in an environment that guarantees equal rights for national languages and traditions. Active and equal functioning of the Chuvash, German and Russian languages in gymnasium significantly increases the status and social functions of the Chuvash language. The author of the article analyzes the experience in implementing the conception in Trakovskaya Chuvash-German Gymnasium of Krasnoarmeysky District, Chuvash Republic.
