Abstracts:
The article considers the analysis of some literary and artistic works of the founder of ethnopedagogics, G. N. Volkov, in terms of style and most characteristic elements of poetics. Functional literary approach allowed the author to conclude that the ethical principle is expressed in fairy tales and stories by G. N. Volkov as a dominant feature in his works. G. N. Volkov’s works also contain the idea of the beautiful in nature and human relations. In the best of his works the author depicts the characters striving for the ideal.
