Abstracts:
The article describes one of the experimentally identified roles of the music teacher – namely, the role of the conductor-choirmaster. The analysis of the training of students of pedagogical high school to fulfill this role-based learning programs conducting and choral disciplines. The necessity of the use of active learning in the classroom choral conducting in the preparation of future music teachers in the role of conductor-choirmaster, disclosed their specificity, are examples to support their implementation in the system of higher education.
