This article is devoted to the study of the influence of different modes of breathing on variability of QT interval of electrocardiogram. Paced breathing is a specific functional state which changes many of the characteristics of cardiorespiratory system. The author has calculated the values of temporal and spectral parameters of QT interval under free breathing and at lower respiration rate. It is shown that controlled reduction in breathing frequency significantly modifies temporal and spectral characteristics of QT interval.
