Abstracts:

This article discloses the essence and content of the concept of aggressive behavior and identifies the characteristics of the aggressive behavior of senior schoolchildren. The authors discuss various approaches to the definition of aggressive behavior, theoretical positions, components, forms, features, age-specific peculiarities, risk factors, influencing the formation of aggressive behavior at senior schoolchildren. The authors also state that aggressive behavior is the behavior (physical or verbal), the motivation for which is causing harm and damage to surrounding objects (living and non-living). This phenomenon is associated with negative emotions (anger), motives (desire to harm), beliefs (race discrimination) and destructive actions; gives the essence of Gestalt-therapy method as the way of correction of aggressive behavior of senior schoolchildren, and the diagnostic results and the level of aggressiveness of senior schoolchildren.
