The article reveals the essence and content of pedagogical support of nursery teachers; pays special attention to the options and forms of pedagogical support of nursery teachers of preschool educational organizations in terms of cognitive development of preschool children; on the basis of experimental data proves that the pedagogical support of nursery teachers through the use of innovative forms of methodical work provides an increase in the level of cognitive development of preschool children.
