METHODOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF MODERN APPROACHES TO DEVELOPMENT OF CRITICAL THINKING
The need of conscious formation of critical thinking at modern youth in the context of high information saturation conditions the relevance of the study. The purpose of the article is to analyze some modern educational approaches to development of critical thinking at students. Basing on the methodology of asymmetrical dialectics, the authors considered the approaches «cognitivism» and «constructivism» in terms of their efficiency in the formation and development of critical thinking, gave the examples of application of those approaches, and revealed the contradictions. The paper provides the reasons for the correct educational methodology of formation of critical thinking at students.
